Lyn Candles

Some of you may already know that i'm a bit of a candle fanatic, I have too many to count! So when i spotted a handmade candle shop when I was on holiday in Devon with my family in August, I just had to go in! The shopkeeper was so friendly and helpful, he showed us around the shop and told us all about how he made the candles, and then I had a look at all of the jars. After a lot of candle smelling, I finally made my mind up and got 'Apple Orchard' which is amazing! While i was looking, the candle maker told me how the shop had been a bit quiet recently, which surprised me as all of his candles were gorgeous! I really recommend taking a look at their website, there's a huge range of candles in different sizes, and trust me, not one smells bad!

About Lyn Candles:

'Candles began as a hobby for John Baker, in a spare room in his home in beautiful Lynton, Devon.
As John’s family grew and became involved in the process of candle making, the candle room also grew, until it became the dedicated workshop and thriving business it is today.'

Lyn Candles make their jar candles out of 100% vegetable wax which has many advantages over traditional paraffin candles. They have a cleaner burn, stronger scent throw and are environmentally friendlier! What more could you want?

Click here to visit their website and read about their shop or even buy a candle for yourself, a friend, or a family member. They're definitely worth getting an would make a lovely gift. This post is in no way sponsored, I just feel that such a lovely, friendly family business deserves the recognition.

Hope you're having a lovely day!

  6. These are lovely lovely candles! Have you seen the WoodWick candles? They have a wooden wick so they crackle like a fire and they burn flat so you waste no wax, if you're a candle fan definitely should look into one if you haven't already :)

Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog as well, I'm not following you :)

  8. Thanks for this post, I was looking for new candle brands other than Yankee and Neom - as much as I love them, they can be expensive! I am definitely checking these out and making a purchase :-)
