25 Random Facts About Me
Sunday, February 03, 2013
I've been seeing an awful lot of '25 random facts about me' posts floating around in the Blogmesphere lately, so I thought I would finally jump on the bandwagon and do my own! I always find it interesting to learn more about the bloggers I follow, a personal post is really nice to see on my dashboard once in a while. I'm afraid I'm a bit too awkward to do a YouTube video, so hopefully a Blog post will be just as good...
1. My favourite place in the world is a beach called Constantine Bay in Cornwall, England. One day I plan to live there for a summer, it's my happy place!
3. I'm a big rock fan, which tends to surprise people considering that I look a bit like your generic teenage One Direction fan girl.
4. I have an awful Anxiety and Panic Disorder which I've been struggling with for 15 years now. I also have emetaphobia, which is the fear of vomit...
5. I am the only cousin in my family (out of six, including my sister) that doesn't have naturally light blonde hair. I had light blonde hair until I was 10 years old, and from then on it's been naturally brown.
6. I'm a blue belt in Karate. I stopped going while I was doing my GCSE's, but I'd love to start it up again once I have the confidence!
7. If I don't have spell check on hand, I can't spell the word 'Restaurant' to save my life. I'm not sure why because I'm usually pretty good at spelling. It's just one of those things...
8. I didn't start wearing make-up until I was 16, and even then the only thing I wore was mascara. Make-up is still all relatively new to me and it's only in the past two years that I've become interested in it!
9. My favourite foods ever are Cadbury's chocolate and watermelon. If I could live on them, I would!
10. From the age of 14-16 I was extremely experimental with my hair colour. It's been dark blonde, light blonde, blonde with highlights, ginger, brown with highlights, dark brown, black, pink dip dye and purple. My hair is currently brown and ombre'd.
11. I was a late one with my growth spurt. I was just under 5ft for most of my secondary school years, and then in the summer of my last year at school I shot up to 5ft 6"! I'm hoping that I'm still growing so that I can reach 5ft 8".
12. I have
13. I'm a huge Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings fan and can pretty much quote each of the movies word for word. (Sad, I know). My best friend and I went to the Harry Potter studios in London last year and it was absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend going if you're into everything Potter.
14. I never, ever jump at scary movies.
15. I've given up on every club I ever joined (gymnastics, swimming, tap dance, modern dance and drama), I tend to get bored of routine quite quickly!
16. When I'm older and have the confidence and funds, I would love to take a road trip around America.
17. I hate macaroni and cheese. If someone I'm with is cooking or eating it I have to leave the room because I can't stand the smell. Eugh!
18. I'm always writing... I hate feeling un-organised, so I'm always writing thoughts or lists down in my notebook; especially blog post ideas. - It keeps me sane!
19. I'm an introvert. I really don't do well in big social situations, it makes me feel so anxious! I'd much rather spend time with one or two good friends than a large group.
20. I have a really good memory. I can recall things from when I was as young as 2, and remember tiny little details about almost everything. - The only thing I'm awful at remembering is dates!
21. I'm not a morning person at all, if you try and wake me up early you better be prepared to pay the price. I won't take it well!
22. My favourite movies of all time include Into the Wild, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Finding Nemo.
23. I used to be a vegetarian until my doctor said it would be better for my health to eat meat. If I had the choice I would still be a veggie!
24. My middle name is Rachel after my grandma's best friend.
25. I'm quite a home body, but I love adventures. I can't imagine ever completely leaving home behind to live somewhere else, but I definitely want to live in a few different countries for a while!
There you have it, hopefully they weren't too boring! Hope you've had a great weekend so far,
