A Little Update & Mini Boots Haul!

Sunday, February 17, 2013

Happy Sunday! It's been a bit of eventful week for me to be honest, the days completely flew by and it's quite hard for me to believe that it's almost Monday again already! - Am I the only one?
I've been in a bit of a funny mood blogging wise too, I think I'm just so anxious to get moving with my blog make-over that I'm not putting as much effort into my posts as I'd like to, or planning as much as I should (which results in me not wanting to look at my blog. meh). Hopefully a new week will bring new inspiration and motivation with it though!
In other news, if you follow me on twitter you may already know that my Instagram has stopped working for whatever reason *shakes fist*. Instead of repeatedly trying to get it up and running again with no success, I decided to just make a new account and be done with it. So you can find my new Instagram which now has the user name leanneblogs. :)

Onto the mini Boots haul. I'm trying so hard to save up some money for my trip to Manchester in two weeks time, that I practically walked through the shop peeking through my fingers so that I wouldn't be tempted to buy anything more than I actually needed. I definitely have a problem.
I didn't buy any new products this week, I just repurchased the products I've been really liking a lot lately; Especially the Toni & Guy Sea Salt Spray. I've been giving my hair a bit of a rest from too much heat recently which has meant that I've needed to tame it while it's in a natural state - Think lions mane. This sea salt spray is definitely the best one I've used so far and gives my hair texture and natural waves, rather than leaving it in a big oily mess.
I then bought my favourite shampoo and conditioner right now from VO5, and a Batiste dry shampoo for day 2 hair. I think I need to try out a few new dry shampoos though as I find the Batiste ones a bit overpowering scent wise! Let me know if you know any that are worth giving a go!

Hope you've had a lovely weekend. What did you get up to?

  2. I love the rebranded V05 range. Their heat protection spray is possibly the best think i've bought in the last six months! As for dry shampoo, I think boots do a scent free version in their expert range (I could be wrong though!) xx

  5. I've been wanting to try out a sea salt spray, but I'm scared it won't give me any waves, since I have such fine and straight hair... =X Do you recommend that one?

    1. Definitely! My hair is quite thin too and when I apply it to straightened hair it doesn't exactly give me waves, but it does add texture! You could always use a curler for a bit more wavy-ness. :) xx
