Easy Marshmallow & White chocolate Rice Crispy Treats ♡

Saturday, March 02, 2013

Rice Krispies, Pink & White marshmallows, and White chocolate all mixed up to make possibly the prettiest looking treats ever? ...Yes please. I was craving marshmallows the other evening for whatever reason, so yesterday I took a trip to the shop and got the bits and pieces to make these and some chocolate crispy cakes with mini eggs on top! This recipe made about 16 squares (give or take a couple), but if you want more or less, the measurements are pretty easy to alter.

You will need:
♥ 5 cups of Rice Krispies ♥ 4 cups of pink and white mini marshmallows ♥ 2 packets of Milkybar buttons ♥ ½ Cup of butter

Line a 9x15(ish) tin with greaseproof paper
In a pan, melt the butter and marshmallows together until they become a gooey mixture
Turn off the heat and mix the Rice Krispies into the mixture making sure it's all well combined
Spread the marshmallow and rice crispy mixture evenly in your lined tin
Melt the chocolate and spread it evenly on top of the mixture
Put the tin into the fridge for an hour (or until set) and cut into squares to serve

Let me know if you're going to give these a go! I'm going to go and eat as many of them as I can now so they don't go to waste. That's my excuse anyway...
