Origins Peace of Mind On-the-spot Relief - Review

Thursday, March 07, 2013

A couple of weeks ago I was placing an order on the Origins website and could get an offer if I spent £30. Being me and not wanting to miss out on a free pot of cream, I decided to have a search for something else to add to my order. I'm so glad I did, or I wouldn't have come across this little gem!
The Origins Peace of Mind On-the-spot Relief is a 'mind clearing formula' that claims to relieve tension, pressure and tightness when your head feels a size too small. I was a bit dubious as to how much this little bottle would actually work, but it really does!

You may know that I suffer from an anxiety disorder (change the record Leanne) which often gives me those annoying tension headaches that a couple of paracetamol just won't budge, so I was really eager to give this a go. The bottle itself is quite tiny which I was surprised about, but you only really need a tiny amount each time and a little really goes a long way. It's Definitely worth the £12 it retails at.

Personally, if I have a headache or feel stressed/anxious, I put a dab of the minty smelling cream onto my temples, forehead, behind my ears and the back of my neck. I find that I can feel it working within 30 seconds; it feels a bit like you have a cool breeze blowing on you, and it really does make a huge difference at relieving the tension and stress. - I'd definitely recommend it to any migraine sufferers out there!

I now keep this little bottle on me wherever I go and I'll definitely be repurchasing it when I eventually run out. It's already a little holy grail product for me, so I can imagine that it will be even more amazing in the Summer when you tend to get all hot and flustered!

Have you tried this product yet? Would you like to?

  1. I have this too and bought it for the same reasons as I suffer from panic attacks and bad migraines from stress and it works wonders! I was sceptical as it's quite pricy but I use it all the time and it's just the right thing for relaxing. I tried it first in america when the sales assistant pushed it on me, but I fell in love with it nevertheless and bought it at christmas when I was buying my mums christmas present! x
