A Collective Clothes Haul!
Friday, April 19, 2013
Good afternoon! I've been doing my fair share of shopping this past couple of months, so I thought I'd compile it all together (minus the jumper I'm wearing) and do a collective haul to show you what I've drained my money on!
![]() |
H&M Skirt £19.99, Topshop Belt £16 |
This skirt from H&M will be perfect for me in Spring and Summer as I don't really own that many skirts at all. I love the flowery lace detailing on the bottom half too, it's a nice girly alternative from the plain monochrome clothes I usually wear!
I will definitely be pairing it with this Topshop studded belt a lot too as I've practically worn my silver version of it to death now.
Topshop Socks £3.50 each, or 3 for £8 |
Does anyone else struggle to ignore the 3 for £8 Topshop socks deal? I got these three pastel pairs for the days when it's not quite warm enough to go without socks, but not Wintery enough to wear black ones. I am especially in love with the mint ones, they're glittery!
New Look Trousers £16.99, New Look Jelly Sandles £14.99 |
I got these Floral Print Tapered Leg trousers from my local New Look a couple of weeks ago after seeing them online and not being able to get my size. They were actually the only pair in the store and just so happened to be a size 8. - Yes please!
My second New Look purchase was a bit of a whim/nostalgic decision... Jelly shoes. Apparently I've decided that revisiting the 90's and all of it's blisters is a good idea, so I'm sure I'll be wearing them quite a lot when I go on holiday next month!
H&M Imitation Suede Jacket £29.99 |
During the winter months my absolute favourite layering piece has been my leather jacket, however considering we seem to having some sunshine lately, I thought I'd invest in a jacket that's a bit more suited to the weather. I'm not willing to go completely out of my comfort zone just yet, so a jacket that has the same style as my leather one with a different colour and fabric seemed like the safest option!
Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail polishes £3.69 |
More nail polishes you ask? ...Yes, more nail polishes! I went into Boots with my Mum the other day in search of something completely unrelated to anything in the makeup isle, so naturally, I bought something from the makeup isle.
These two pretty shades from Rimmel (Too Cool to Tango & Instyle Coral) are perfect spring colours in my eyes, and I'll definitely be wearing them a lot. That justifies the purchase, right?

Deena & Ozzy Wedges £38, H&M Bag £14.99 |
The next thing I purchased were these ah-mazing Deena & Ozzy Ankle Wedges form Urban Outfitters. They're by far my favourite things that I've bought in a long time, and they are so super duper comfy and easy to walk in, which is always a huge plus when it comes to wedges! I'm almost 5ft7" and although I don't look awfully tall, my legs go on forever, so I was slightly worried that these shoes would make me look like Bambi on stilts. Not to worry though as they look absolutely fine, and are actually very flattering. Now all I need is some warm weather so that I can get my use out of them!...
Last but certainly not least is this Cream/Beige bag from H&M. I currently only own a brown, grey and black bag, so I'm glad I finally have one that's a little bit lighter! It's a great size for throwing all of the things I lug around with me in, and has a few little pockets inside, so quite a bargain at £14.99!
So that's it for my haul! My bank balance is definitely looking a little bit worse for wear now, so I'll have to start saving up if I want to take any money with me on holiday in May.
On the subject of saving money, my Motel Rocks discount is worth a massive 25% off this week, so make sure you take advantage of that while you can. Just enter 'leannerachel' at the checkout!
