Springtime Scents | My Top Three
Monday, April 29, 2013Aside from my favourite perfume (Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle; which I've raved about many times in the past), I have quite a number of perfumes that I rotate between in Spring and Summer. I thought I'd share the top three that I've been wearing lately, as I'm always so interested in finding out what other people like!
I'm exceptionally rubbish when it comes to describing scents, so I'll put the notes under each one to give you a bit more of an idea as to how they smell!
♥ Dolce & Gabbana Rose The One
Rose The One was one of the first 'designer' perfumes I ever bought, and I still love it to this day. It's a very flowery/slightly fruity scent, so if you don't like the smell of roses then it definitely isn't for you. It's such a lovely light perfume for a sunny day when you don't want to wear anything too warm, and is really long wearing too, which is always something worth looking for in a perfume!
Top Notes Blackcurrant, Pink grapefruit, Mandarin Middle Notes Lily of the valley, Rose, Litchi, Peony, Madonna lily Base Notes Ambrette seed, Sandalwood, Musk, Vanilla
♥ Yves Saint Laurent Parisienne
I got Parisienne shortly after it came out when I smelt it for the first time at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. The only way that I can really describe this scent is that it reminds me so much of Palmer Violets (the little purple sweets). It's a very sweet perfume, but it has a very airy and fresh/floral element to it too, which means that it isn't too sickly for daytime wear. I also love the bottle, it's so pretty!
Top Notes Rose, Green freshness, Vinyl accord Middle Notes Red fruits, Cranberry, Blackcurrant Base Notes Patchouli, White cedar, Musk
♥ Dior Miss Dior
Miss Dior Cherie is probably my most worn perfume after Coco Mademoiselle. It's a very pretty, light and girly fragrance that gives me a little confidence boost when I wear it; and one that I really look forward to wearing.
If you're someone that isn't really into heavy perfumes or anything to 'in your face' (or in this case, nose), I really recommend going giving it a sniff. It's a little on the pricey size for a bigger bottle, but well worth it in my opinion!
Top Notes Blood Orange Essence, Calabrain Bergamot Middle Notes Jasmine Absolute, Orange Blossom, Rose Base Notes Patchouli
Those are my favourite spring time perfumes at the moment. Please let me know what your favourites are too, I'd love to hear them! I hope you've had a lovely Monday,
♥

DeleteHaven't tried any of these but I love the Miss Dior bottle, the one I use is Acqua Di Gioia by Georgio Armani, I have no way to describe it other than.. fresh rather than floral. Haha it's lovely though!

DeleteI love all of the Miss Dior range. I stocked up on a huge bottle when I was in the US because it was so reasonable. The bottles are so pretty too. :)
