Cath Kidston Holiday Haul

Saturday, June 08, 2013

Good afternoon! I haven't blogged properly in a while with going away and being ill the week before, so it feels so good to be back. I didn't realise how much I'd miss blogging!
I had a really lovely sunny week away in Cornwall with my family last week, complete with horrible sunburn (tut) and sand in my underwear.
Cornwall is one of my family's favourite holiday destinations, so we did a lot of revisiting places we go to every year. One place we visited during the week was St. Ives, which is a really pretty seaside town with lots of shops (a very dangerous place for me when I have a debit card in hand), and most importantly, a Cath Kidston store. I love Cath Kidston things, so it was really hard to restrain from buying everything in the shop, but I managed to narrow it down eventually, so I thought I'd show you what I got...

Daisy Rose Pocket Mirror £3, London Fabric Covered Notebook £15
The first thing I got was this London print notebook. I carry a journal with me everywhere for writing down blog ideas and lists, and my current one is very nearly full. I almost don't want to write in my new one and ruin it with my terrible handwriting!
I also got a little pocket mirror to carry in my bag, because, why not?

Linen Sprig Acrylic Tumbler £3.50,  Briar Rose Tea Mug £5
The next things I got were this mug and plastic tumbler (I very nearly wrote Tumblr there...). I'm pretty rubbish at drinking, and as this tea mug is quite small, I'd call it 'Leanne sized'... The perfect size for my morning cuppa!
The plastic tumbler could also be used for drinks, but I actually bought it to put my bigger makeup brushes in. I love the print, and I fancied a change from the old candle jars I'm using at the moment.

Washed Roses Zip Bag £30
The final thing I got is this amazing shopper bag, which is actually an early birthday present from my Mum. It's hard to tell the size of it from the picture, but it's a pretty big, so I'll be using as a travel one as I stay over at my Mum's/Nan's quite often. - I love it, thanks Mum!

I hope you've all had a great week and are enjoying the sunshine,
