Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo Cream Gel Eye Shadows: £4.99 each
A few weeks ago now I was watching one of the lovely Estée's videos, and when I heard her raving about the Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo Cream Gel Eye Shadows I naturally made a note straight away to go down to Boots to pick one up. Although there were quite a few colour options in the range to choose from, you probably know by now that I'm a neutrals girl when it comes to makeup, so I ended up getting two shades; 'On and on bronze' and 'Pink gold'.

I hadn't fully taken the plunge into the world of cream based makeup products before these (other than the odd cream blush, eye shadow and chubby sticks), so I wasn't really sure how well I would get on with them, but I put them to the test straight away. The formula of these eye shadows is amazing. They glide on and blend really well without tugging on the delicate skin around the eyes, the pigmentation is spot on, the wear time is great and withstands eye rubbing, and the colours are so pretty!

These little pots are a complete life saver for me on lazy makeup days, and make it look like I've put tonnes of effort into my makeup when I've hardly put any in at all. If i'm feeling a bit more adventurous I find that On And On Bronze is a great base for a smokey eyed look too, all it takes is a little contouring with a darker shadow and you're good to go! All in all, I am completely won over by the Colour Tattoo Eye Shadows and might even have to branch out into the bolder colours later on. Have you tried them yet?

  2. You picked up two gorgeous shades! I really want the pink one.

I have Enternal Gold, which is rather pretty, but not all that subtle for everyday. I may have to pick one of these beauties up!
